Our programs are designed to help our youth develop their social skills as well as a positive self-image. We pride ourselves on creating positive environments that give kids the opportunity to be part of programs they may not be able to participate in elsewhere.
Our Objectives
The Lindenhurst Youth Center’s primary objective is to create a safe haven for the youth in our community to congregate. Our programs are designed to help our youth develop their socials skills, as well as promote a positive self-image. We pride ourselves on creating positive environments that give kids the opportunity to be a part of a multi-faceted program that may not be able to participate in elsewhere.
The Lindenhurst Youth Center operates a Drop-In lounge which is open to all the youth 10-17 years of age in, and surrounding, the Village Area. The Drop-In Lounge hosts many caricatures through the year, such as parties, tournaments for pool, ping pong, basketball, video games, field trips to places like Six Flags, Great Adventure, Splish Splash, movie theaters and bowling alleys.
A Fun Place for Recreation and More
Down at the Youth Center we have two full size outdoor basketball courts, all types of sports equipment, two pool tables, ping pong table, TV’s, Computers, video games and much more!
